Assistant Branch Manager

The Portage Bank is hiring a full-time Assistant Branch Manager.

The Assistant Branch Manager partners closely with the Branch Manager to achieve service goals by effectively overseeing daily branch operations and ensuring for the delivery of best-in-class client service. This role will demonstrate positive leadership behaviors through team motivation, team development and leading by example. The Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager by coordinating the training, service, and operational aspects supporting bank initiatives which includes leading and managing a team of Tellers and assisting with developing strategies for branch success. In addition, this position acts as compliance representative and is accountable for complying with bank policies and procedures along with governmental regulatory requirements and risk management.

Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller is responsible for supporting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with accounting related functions including monthly reporting and account reconciliations, preparing financial statements, accounting analysis, budgeting, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, and assisting with financial audits. In addition, this role interfaces with all levels within the organization which requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
