Kalamazoo, MI, September 23, 2017??" Twelve-second first place finishers, six-inch platform running shoes, the big-banana car, and more - this is the Point 1K Spoof Run! Kalamazoo’s shortest “race” is returning to the downtown Kalamazoo Mall on September 23rd, from 4 p.m.-7 p.m., drawing over 500 participants to raise money for Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.

The day of the race will offer participants retailer discounts, food and drink deals, costume contests, live music, a free kids fun run, and an array of fun activities throughout the mall!

About Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan
The Point 1K supports Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan (HCSWMI), a nonrofit provider of hospice care and grief support services, serving seven counties in Southwest Michigan. They serve clients based on need for care, not ability to afford services. HCSWMI provides hospice services in-home and in skilled and assisted living facilities, as well as in their two hospice residences ??" Rose Arbor in Kalamazoo and Glenn Arbor in Battle Creek.
