John M. Schreuder With over 25 years of banking experience in West Michigan, John has served as Chairman and CEO of First National Bank of Michigan, since its inception in April, 2006. John has served on behalf of many civic and charitable organizations including the Board of Directors of the Michigan Bankers Association, Heritage Community of Kalamazoo and the State Chamber of Commerce. |
Larry D. Lueth Mr. Lueth has served as President and Senior Lender for First National Bank since the bank’s inception in 2006. Prior to founding First National Bank, Mr. Lueth served as Regional President for the West Michigan region of National City Bank, now PNC Bank. Mr. Lueth has served many civic organizations and currently is board chair of Borgess Health, secretary and current board member of the KVCC Foundation, board member of Community in Schools, board member of Downtown Tomorrow, Inc., and board member of WMU Alumni Association. |
Mary Hoag Mary joined First National Bank of Michigan in February 2006 after spending 25 years in retail banking and sales at National City Bank. Mary received National City's highest honor in 2000 leading the entire corporation in her sales efforts. Mary is currently a member of the Kalamazoo County Treasurers Association as well as being an active participant in many community events. Mary resides in Portage with her husband. | Martha A. Betke Martha joined the First National Bank team in September, 2009. With over 30 years of banking experience in Kalamazoo, she most recently served as Branch Manager of the west side branch of National City Bank. A lifelong resident of Kalamazoo, Martha attended Western Michigan University and has been involved in a number of community and civic organizations including the Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Kalamazoo United Way. She currently volunteers as a mentor for PDTC | Daniel E. Bitzer Market President for West Michigan (Direct): 616.706.1958 In January 2012 Dan joined the First National Bank of Michigan team to lead the Grand Rapids banking center as Market President of West Michigan. His 27 years of corporate banking experience includes specializing in bond financing, municipal lending in Michigan and Illinois and managing Commercial Real Estate portfolios for Michigan and N.W. Ohio. Dan received his BS in Mathematics from Ferris State College and MA in Economics from Western Michigan University, and later taught in its Economics Department. His numerous community involvements have included being Past President of the State Chapter of Robert Morris Associates, and Otsego Public Schools Board Treasurer. |

Adam E. Wade Adam joined First National Bank of Michigan in September of 2006 as a Commercial Relationship Manager and Loan Officer. He has 12 years of banking and finance experience with a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Finance from Kalamazoo College. Prior to joining FNBM, he was with Fifth Third Bank, opening and managing their Oshtemo Financial Center. He is actively involved with the Kalamazoo Rotary Club, Centerpoint Church, and volunteers with many community organizations. He lives in Mattawan with his wife and 2 sons. |
Nancy Turtle Nancy joined the commercial banking group at First National Bank of Michigan in May 2007, after 10 years with Fifth Third Bank. Nancy spent a total of 13 years in banking after leaving a career in sales. Nancy earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Public Administration from Western Michigan University. Nancy has served on such community boards and committees as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Kiwanis Club of Downtown Kalamazoo, Senior Services Capital Campaign, United Way, Ministry with Community, Girl Scouts of Glowing Embers, and Kalamazoo Area Academic Achievement Program. Nancy resides in Mattawan where she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. | Steve Rider Steve joined First National Bank of Michigan in December 2006 after spending 24 years in commercial banking at Old Kent Bank, Arcadia Bank and State Bank of Caledonia. Steve currently serves as President of Interact, a local non-profit working with the mentally ill and is the coach for St. Monica's boys' 7th grade basketball team. Steve has a degree from Nazareth College and resides in Vicksburg with his wife and 5 kids | John J. John has also graduated from the National Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma. John has been active in such community organizations as The American Heart Association, The Boy Scouts, Junior Achievement, and Trinity Reformed Church in Kalamazoo. John has also served for the United Way and for the Allegan General Hospital. John's wife Barbara is an elementary teacher with the Otsego School District, in which they have both been active in past years. Together they have a son in the US Military, and a son and daughter at the University of Michigan. |
Richard D. Bailey II Rick joined First National Bank of Michigan in 2011 as our Senior Vice President/Credit Administrator. He will oversee the bank's Credit Administration and Loan Operation departments. Rick brings over 30 years of banking experience, most recently serving as Chief Lending Officer for a Tampa, Florida startup banking company. Prior to Florida, Rick was President of Commercial Banking for Republic Bank headquartered in Lansing, Michigan. He also served as Senior Executive Vice President for Chemical Bank-Shoreline in St. Joseph/Benton Harbor, Michigan. Throughout his career, Rick has served on many community organization and non-profit boards. He is a Past President of the Kalamazoo Optimist's Club and recently served as President of the Western Michigan University's Alumni Association. Rick received his Masters of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan. |
