“Everybody’s special,” says Vice President Mary A. Hoag. “This level of customer service is what people deserve.” That’s why Mary puts her cell number on her business card and offers to do the leg work if there is something she can do to make a customer’s financial life run a little more smoothly. “It’s simple,” Hoag says easily. “The two most important things in your life are your family and making sure that you can take care of your family – which means your finances. When you trust us with your finances, we need to get it right.” That is especially true when people make the decision to move their financial home to a new bank.

“The number one reason people say they don’t want to change banks is that it’s too complicated,” Hoag says. “That’s where I come in; I do it for them!” Every transition, whether a personal or business account, has a checklist. “We want it to be easy, seamless,” she continues. “It needs to be done slowly, in stages, and totally error-free. Think about it: your first experience with a new bank has to be pleasant.”

Mary finds that’s particularly true with busy business clients whose operations include payroll, accounting, tax payments, and many other time-sensitive obligations. “We feel honored to have these businesses and their trust,” she says quietly.
